Visit to Kilvington Grammar School

Last Wednesday I had the privilege of sharing my books and talking about writing to grades 2 and 3 at Kilvington Grammar School as part of their inaugural ‘Kilvington Reads Festival.’ I shared with the students and staff how I came to writing, wrote some shorthand (a dying art) on the whiteboard, (guaranteed to produce wide-eyed amazement), read some of my stories and talked about the research and background behind these books. I also shared a short ‘movie’ of both the launch of Little Dog and the Christmas Wish and the launch of the Myer Christmas windows, so I think we had lots of fun too. Below are some photos:
