Treasures and Tastes at Trinity Market – Saturday 20 August
This Saturday, after returning from her travels, Marjory Gardner will be joining me again at the revamped Treasures and Tastes at Trinity Market in Union Road Surrey Hills. You’ll find excellent home-made food including cakes, pancakes and local honey, hot soup and hot scones served in the cafe, plant stalls and a myriad of craft items made by local creators.
A new introduction is a Kids Activity Table where little ones can have fun and create a masterpiece.
Marjory will be selling her beautiful name tags, cards, Christmas decorations and books and I’ll be sharing the stall with my personally signed books. This coming Cup Day it will be 30 years since the much-loved Subzero won the Melbourne Cup and I’ll have plenty of copies of Subbie and his mate to sign and offer for sale as well other recent publications including To the Bridge, the true story of 9 year old Lennie Gwyther and his pony Ginger Mick who rode from Leongatha to Sydney to see the opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
And with next week being Children’s Book Week, what a great way to celebrate books.
Hope to see you there.
