The Dog on the Tuckerbox Memorabilia

Today a dear friend visited with a lovely surprise for me, a postcard of the ” Monument of The Dog on the Tuckerbox’ dated 1949 and signed by Frank Rusconi who sculptured the bronze statue of the dog. The postcard is for me a prized possession.

Below are some photos as well as a ‘Congratulations on Publication slip’ which I received this week from Walker Books/Black Dog Books on the publication of the paperback edition of The Dog on the Tuckerbox.

They are a miscellaneous bundle of photos and I hope you enjoy them.

Chris Bell Hi Corinne I also find the keepsakes I've acquired in connection to what I'm writing to be absolute treasures. Our French battlefields tour guide gave me a postcard as we were leaving that is precious. It is a vista including the magnificent Amien Cathedral. It is written in fountain pen and very old. Very special. xx Chris
