Signing One Christmas Eve at Myer Ballarat – 10.00 a.m. – 2.00 p.m. Saturday Dec 9
The more people I speak to the more I realise that it’s not so widely known that the Myer windows, created by the wonderful artisans at Stage One Australia, are not just on display for one Christmas in Melbourne and Brisbane.
The windows actually go on tour.
So, this Christmas, Little Dog and the Christmas Wish is on display at Myer Geelong & One Christmas Eve is on display at Myer Ballarat. As mentioned on my website banner, I’ll be signing both books at Myer Ballarat from 10.00 – 2.00 p.m. this Saturday, December 9. If you live in or close to Ballarat or perhaps you missed the windows last Christmas, come by and say hello.
One Christmas Eve
CORINNE FENTON & MARJORIE CROSBY-FAIRALL
One Christmas Eve, Grandpa puts on his best shirt, Bella passes him his favourite hat, and they wave goodbye to Gran. Together they walk along the tape measure streets and roundabout corners until there, before them, is Luna Park.
When Bella visits Luna Park on Christmas Eve with Grandpa, he hands her a single silver coin to use on a ride. Bella enjoys the excitement of the roller-coaster, the squeals from the ghost train ride and the laughter from the giggle palace, but she is drawn to the sparkling carousel and it’s here she spends her precious coin.
Little Dog and the Christmas Wish
BY CORINNE FENTON & ROBIN COWCHER
Jonathon and Little Dog are the best of friends who do everything together. One Christmas Eve, when Little Dog is left alone at home, a crash of thunder sees him escape under the gate in search of Jonathon. The result is a nostalgic adventure set against the backdrop of Melbourne in the 1950s.
