Sharing Little Dog and the Christmas Wish with Children
9 Dec, 2015 | What's happening in my writing life
There is nothing more rewarding for an author than spending time with children, without whom, we would not be doing what we do.
Looking at their excited faces, full of anticipation and sometimes concern, as you turn the pages, is a priceless feeling like no other. The silence of the audience is the greatest compliment.
At the end of my session, I was presented with a book of letters from the children telling me why they enjoyed ‘Little Dog and the Christmas Wish.’ I don’t need to say anything more, the photos say it all. Thank you 1D at Banyule Primary School. And have a look at the superb reading chair. Very special.
