My Bear Hunts
If you’ve been watching my social media posts you would have noticed that I’ve been on a bear hunt. Can’t seem to stop myself.
I began to wonder how many bears I’d seen and photographed over the last few weeks. The answer – heaps!
I think it’s a lovely thing for children (and adults) to watch out for while walking and both the bears and their settings have given me much pleasure while I’m walking my 5 – 10 kilometres each day. I’m a walker anyway, but during this isolation period I’ve tried to be very disciplined.
So I’ve been on my bear hunts, thought about and re-read the book We’re Going on a Bear Hunt and also found a few non-bear animals in the mix. And along with the children on trikes and scooters, skipping ropes and playing ball games in their front gardens, I see this as another positive in our world as it is right now.
