Little Dog, Robin Cowcher and Corinne Fenton Visit Sydney
When Robin and I decided to make a trip to Sydney to celebrate Little Dog and the Summer Holiday, we initially thought we might do a road trip, stopping in Benalla, Gundagai and at the statue of The Dog on the Tuckerbox – just like Little Dog and his family do in the book.
But, we have decided to postpone Gundagai until next year when the Myer Windows in Wagga Wagga will also feature Little Dog and the Christmas Wish.
So on Saturday, the wonderful Paul McDonald has invited us for a signing and to share some of the background in creating Little Dog and the Summer Holiday. As we are flying up, Harry (my gorgeous little mascot west highland terrier) won’t be with us but we are hoping there may be some Sydney West Highland Terriers who will come along and join us.
Where: The Children’s Bookshop, 6 Hannah Street, Beecroft, Sydney.
When: This Saturday afternoon, 25 November, at 2.00 p.m.
