Lionel and Me Launch – Saturday 26 November – Collins Booksellers Croydon

Last Saturday’s Lionel and Me launch at Collins Booksellers in Croydon was a terrific occasion. Of course the sunshine helped, but throw in books, kids, many dogs, authors, illustrators, cake and wonderful bookshop staff, even Santa – we had it made.

I’d like to thank Laraine, Mark, Heather, James and Lily, from Collins Croydon, Mark from Golden Retriever Rescue for launching and bringing several golden retrievers, Sam from Main Street Croydon for helping organise and Tracie Grimwood for illustrating. Special thanks also to Harry the Westie for inviting and making Maverick and Lionel feel very welcome on his territory.
