Holiday Reading

This time last week we were holidaying in Fiji – seems like months ago!

It was perfect – clear blue skies during the day, palm tree fringed sandy beaches, ankle deep aquamarine water running out to the distant reef. At at night there was torrential rain.

We slept, walked and read – it was beautiful.

 

Back to reality – this is my third day in bed with the flu. The beast totally ignored my flu shot, my massive doses of vitamin C and echinacea and lavender oil failed me.

And this afternoon I’m going to lose myself in some of my favourite picture books. What a treat.
