Forthcoming events for Subbie and his mate by Corinne Fenton and Mark Wilson
Subbie and his mate was released yesterday. This is a special book for many people – those in the racing community who knew and loved them, the thousands of children they met in schools and hospitals, the elderly whose lives they brightened in retirement villages and nursing homes, the jockeys who rode on Subbie’s back, his owners and trainers, and all those lives they touched on race days when they were on Clerk of the Course duties.
They brought joy to so many.
There are several events coming up to celebrate this book which has been superbly illustrated by Mark Wilson and Published by Ford Street Publishing.
Thursday, March 10 I’ll be at Collins Booksellers on Lydiard Ballarat from 3.30 – 4.30 signing books.
