Escape to one of Victoria’s most beautiful places

It has been some time since those who live in Melbourne have been able to enjoy a holiday. As a family, last week we had a lovely time in beautiful Bright, in North East Victoria, one of our very favourite holiday spots, for three generations.
It was fabulous to once again visit familiar cafes and restaurants, shop and browse in our favourite shops, attend the Bright Market and go for daily walks along the river and into the surrounding bush. I also caught up with a treasured friend who lives in Beechworth, another beautiful spot.
If you follow me on Facebook and Instagram you would have seen there were a couple of bird rescues, which hasn’t happened for a while and it was great to sit snuggled inside reading a selection of good books, one a recent birthday gift from some thoughtful friends entitled ‘The Girl who Rescues Animals’ by Emma Chichester Clark.
