Christmas Preparation 2021

There is something truly special about this Christmas, given the last challenging couple of years. For so many, love and appreciation of family, friends, pets and all of those close to us is stronger, the memories and traditions more precious.

Usually I begin with the cooking – decorate the cake, make the chocolates, craft chocolate or gingerbread houses etc., and shop and wrap much later. This year I’ve turned it around – the tree is up and the shopping and wrapping is almost finished (a great feeling) although cards are still being written and the cooking has not yet begun – hopefully I’ll get there and enjoy it more.
