A CAT CALLED TRIM by Corinne Fenton and Craig Smith
‘This is the true story of a courageous, mischievous and fearless cat called Trim, who sailed with Matthew Flinders on his voyages to map the coastline of Australia and beyond.’
We are once again delighted to be hosting an event with Harry’s best friend, children’s author Corinne Fenton. Corinne has two new books being launched this year and excitingly both books are being released in London as well as Australia. Well done Corinne on your overseas success and what an adventure it will be for you going over to the UK later in the year.
The completion of A Cat Called Trim just happened to coincide with the fascinating discovery recently of the burial site of Matthew Flinders, beneath Euston Station, 216 years after he circumnavigated Australia. At the book signing, we’re sure there will be plenty of discussion about that too. Please mark 13 April in the diary – Corinne will read, chat, sign and all no doubt with Harry by her side!
The marvellous illustrations accompanying Corinne’s script in Trim are from artist Craig Smith, an accomplished illustrator, possibly best-known for his work on the bestseller The Wonky Donkey.’
So my bag is packed,
there will be cat/pirate cakes
at least one black cat
and possibly a dog or three.
