Book Launch for Hey Baby! The Royal Children’s Hospital

Last Friday, December 7, I was privileged to launch my new book Hey Baby! published by Black Dog/Walker Books surrounded by children and meerkats at the beautiful Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.

As the launch was a non-media one, I was accompanied by a sprinkling of supporters, some little patients, students from Errol Street Primary School and of course the meerkats.

Glenda Strong, Executive Director, The Royal Children’s Hospital Education Institute officially launched the book before I went upstairs to visit some special patients and do some private readings.

It was the perfect place to launch this book and there are some great photos and information on:

The Royal Children’s Hospital Website http://blogs.rch.org.au/education/2012/12/07/hey-baby-the-birth-of-a-gorgeous-new-picture-book/

The blogs of fellow authors and friends:

It was a precious experience which will stay with me always.

There will be another launch this Saturday, December 15 at the Ivanhoe Library but you need to rsvp by tomorrow (December 13) to me via my website or on the Ivanhoe Library website. Thank you.
