BOB THE RAILWAY DOG – ADELAIDE LAUNCH – 23RD AUGUST, 2015

Two launches (for the same book) in three weeks, was a lot of work, but worth every second spent organising it. I will always be grateful for a May Gibbs Creative Time Fellowship which meant I ‘tripped’ over a photo of  Bob at the Adelaide Railway Station in 2008, to Ronald Fluck, OAM, National Railway Museum, to Julie Webster for allowing me to meet (and take heaps of photos) of Smithy and Gilly and putting me in contact with Smithy and Gilly’s grand-daughter Nadine, (she joined us at the Adelaide launch with her owner Judy), to Bob Sampson for allowing us to launch in such a perfect place and to Janeen Brian for the most wonderful launch speech.

There was also a radio interview on Saturday morning, a book signing at Dymocks, Rundle Mall on Saturday afternoon and a very strange hotel experience . . . but I’ll let the photos tell the rest.
