Bookshop Trail – Signing One Lone Swallow, To the Bridge, A Cat Called Trim, Bob the Railway Dog, Hey Baby!

Normally I love visiting bookshops and signing books, but for most of 2020 that just wasn’t possible.

So yesterday I set out on a bookshop trail, having contacted the bookshops the day before to say I’d be dropping in. It was so lovely to actually be surrounded by books once again, to check out the latest releases, see familiar titles on display and to chat to the booksellers.

We were very lucky and timed it perfectly to launch One Lone Swallow at Collins Booksellers Croydon on December 12.

I visited small bookshops along shopping strips and larger ones in shopping centres and had the best time. It was so good to be out again. I did run out of time so my plan is to set off again one day next week.

Just before Christmas I called into The Little Bookroom.

My main wish was to sign copies of my latest title, One Lone Swallow which was released, after a short Covid-delay, on December 1. Thank you everyone for making me feel so welcome. Dymocks Eastland
