The year 2017 began for me with the launch of the Words and Windows exhibition at the Eltham Library Community Gallery in January. I was thrilled and honoured that the Yarra Plenty Regional Library and Nillumbik Shire chose my stories — and the artwork of the amazing illustrators who have worked on these books — for this exhibition.

The Australian Children’s Laureate and author/illustrator, the wonderful Leigh Hobbs, officially launched the exhibition which ran until mid-February and featured original artwork, sculpture and memorabilia.

There will be new books and new adventures this year and I’m looking forward to every moment.
